 Buying
natural stone…
Question: Is natural stone expensive?
Answer: Comparatively, no. Although some types of rock can be pricey (Beach pebbles
from the Polynesian islands for example) most natural stone is reasonable
when compared to other landscaping elements such as sod and trees.
Question: I have a small car, how can I get all of this rock
to my house?
Answer: Southwest Boulder offers delivery on all of our products.
Question: Will you build my landscape features?
Answer: We are primarily a landscape supply company, not a design
or construction firm. However, we do have several cranes for precision
Boulder placement and forklifts to help offload your material
Selecting the right stone…
Question: I have no idea what to do with my yard!
Answer: Don’t panic, just come in to one of our locations.
Trained personnel and inspirational gardens will give you all the ideas
you need to make your landscaping just the way you want it.
Question: What about maintenance?
Answer: Each type of stone has unique properties. As a result
some stones are better suited to particular applications than others.
Before you start looking at our inventory, be sure to speak to one of
our sales staff about how you intend to use the material, they can tell
you of any restrictions you need to keep in mind. This will prevent you
from falling in love with a particular stone only to find out that it
is incompatible with your project.
Question: So to get some answers to my questions I have to either
call or visit your yard?
Answer: Not necessarily. You can always email your question. Or
visit our Products page. You will find product descriptions there that
should help you decide whether the stone you are seeing is right for
you.
Question: What’s with the Lizard in your logo?
Answer: The name “Southwest Boulder & Stone” seemed
to suggest a southwestern desert/old west theme. The iguana was originally
shown alongside a cactus (which is still part of our look but has been
minimized significantly). |
