A long-awaited space for relaxation and recreation, the 14.3 acre Civita Park serves the neighborhood of Mission Valley.
Formerly a sand and gravel quarry, the park now boasts an amphitheater stage, community garden, playing fields, basketball courts, waterfall, creek and a beautiful series of trails.
Along the boulder-lined pathways, life-sized bronze rabbit and animal statues hide – ready to be found by visitors as part of an interactive activity.
Over 500 tons of Desert Sand and other boulders were used to create this engaging outdoor playground.
