For ease of delivery on smaller projects, material is placed on pallets, in wire baskets or in crates. Each pallet contains pieces of one specific product grouped together by similar size. Flagstone, ledgestone, Mexican beach pebble, and premium pebbles like our Sonora Shiner and Sunburst are often palletized for delivery. Palletized material generally weighs about 3000 lbs. and can be easily transferred with a forklift.

For projects requiring less than 5 tons of a bulk product like crushed rock, DG or mulch, super-sacks are utilized. Super-sacks are filled then loaded on a flatbed truck, and can weigh up to 3,000 lbs. each. These heavy-duty bags also keep your material clean, organized, and free of contamination. Super-sacking is also a must in tight spaces where there is no room to maneuver and/or no access for a truck to dump material.

For bulk delivery of materials like crushed rock, decomposed granite and mulch, a minimum of 5 tons is loaded loose in a truck bed. A large open area is required for the delivery truck to unload or dump the material. Since the product is loose, only one type of material can be stored per truck box, making bulk delivery more suited to large amounts of a single product rather than a variety of products that can’t be mixed together.

Our most common delivery option, the flatbed truck is used to deliver smaller quantities of material. Perfect for homeowners or contractors who may need a variety of materials that can’t be mixed together in a commercial truck wrapper container .
